Guards, Knights and Templars

The Kingdom's armed hand: city guards, knights and templars, each a rung of the same ladder.

City guards patrol the streets and the gates; stable guards watch the horses; knights hold the heavier posts; Brute Knights and templars hold the ones above them. They are the Kingdom’s answer to anyone who breaks its peace.

They are not scripted obstacles. They notice what they see, listen to witnesses, and follow orders to the end of a street. A wounded guard will withdraw and bring help. A guard who saw you strike the Queen will never stop.
