Lore

The Ancient Waypoints

A network of old sites, each watched by a Doll, linking places the realm has otherwise forgotten.

Scattered across the realm are waypoints: places older than the roads. At each, a Doll waits.

Step into one and it is discovered. From any Doll you can return to the waypoints you have found. They number twenty across the regions, and one more beneath an arena in the sky.

Nobody built the network to be travelled. Whether that makes it safe is a different matter.
