Bears, bats and stranger things. Ordinary animals changed by what leaks from the broken world.
A bear that is a little too large, with its own way of moving. A bat that bites for more than a bat should. Hybrids of bird, moose and rat that look like something imagined by someone who had never seen any of them.
The damage that began in ritual has spread past those who practised it. Eclipsed Realms shows this through its animals first.
What is known of them so far:
- Mutant Bear: a bear grown wrong, and far stronger for it.
- Bats: biters that never land.
- Hybrid Rat, Hybrid Moose and Hybrid Bird: creatures made of more than one animal, gathered around the Abandoned Village.
Not every animal is changed. Bears and the beasts of the field are still what they always were, and many of them can be tamed.
