Start Village

A community of farmers, craftspeople and believers whose faith has begun to rot from the inside.

The villagers of Start Village are ordinary in the way that matters: they are afraid, they are tired, and they are still kind to each other. Some of them believe the Priest. Some of them go along. A few of them don’t know what happens below the old house.

The village has its own ledger. What you do in public, to its people, in front of witnesses, changes how they treat you for the rest of the game. A killing in front of the tavern is not forgotten by closing time.
